If you’ve found this article because you’re searching for answers about a spiritual awakening, you’re not alone. Many people have begun asking deeper questions about life, purpose and why they feel different, especially since Covid. I would like to share one of the most important spiritual lessons my Team of Guides has ever taught me.

For those of you that don’t know me, please let me explain to you about my Team.

My “Team” are my Guides in Spirit. I know exactly who they are because they were all part of my life here on Earth.

They have not only been my Guides, but also my Spiritual Teachers and they have been by my side through every high and every low, teaching my Soul how to survive in this human existence whilst learning the lessons that, as Souls, we choose to learn before we are born.

A few years ago, I was bullied quite badly at work. My Team gave me the strength and Spiritual understanding to get through. They asked me not to judge the women bullying me but rather, they taught me this lesson that I would like to share with you now.

They took me back to basics.

They taught me about 5’s and 6’s. Me? I had no idea what they were talking about until they explained it to me in these very simple terms. Let me share with you the picture they showed me.

“Marion” they said, “there are really only two types of people in the world. People we refer to as “5’s” and people we refer to as “6’s”.

“5’s” are people that live in the physical world with all five senses intact. They are not Spiritual. Do not believe in Souls, Signs or Coincidences. They would never consult a Psychic for guidance. They are ego based and it seems they are only interested in acquiring wealth and status in this lifetime.

People I call 5’s, are like children in kindergarten or primary school.

“6’s” on the other hand, are people that live Spiritually. They have all six senses intact including their 6th sense. They live each day inspired by Love. They believe in Souls and that we are here to learn and teach Lessons. They believe too, that things happen for a reason and are not a coincidence. They live by the Spiritual Laws of Karma, the Law of Attraction and the power of thought. They also believe that there is life after we die and believe it intimately. They know and trust that there is more to life. Their intuition is sharp and they are very good judges of character, personalities and situations. They are and “feel” connected to a Source greater than their own.

People I call 6’s are like adults in universities and colleges.

And people I call 5.5’s are in the Spiritual equivalent of high school.

Quite often 6’s are Teachers to 5’s.

But just like people in university or college cannot teach Chemistry or Mathematics or Physics to children in kindergarten, so too can it be frustratingly difficult for a 6 to teach a spiritual lesson to a 5.

Then there are people like you. You may be experiencing a spiritual awakening. You may have started questioning life, noticing signs and synchronicities, trusting your intuition more, or feeling that you’re changing in ways you can’t quite explain.

A spiritual awakening is not a destination—it’s the beginning of a lifelong journey of spiritual growth. Imagine a ruler, like the one you used at school. Let that ruler represent the vastness of the Universe and your Soul’s journey through many lifetimes.

Each millimetre on that ruler represents another lifetime.

When I talk about Lessons of the Soul, I am referring to Spiritual lessons like:

Unconditional
Love
Self
Respect and integrity
Forgiveness
Honesty
Trust
Faith
Joy
Compassion
Empathy amongst others

One of the greatest gifts of a spiritual awakening is that it changes the way you see other people. I no longer judge people in the way I once did. Instead, I understand that every Soul is at a different stage of its journey, and that’s where my teaching about “5’s” and “6’s” begins. When I refer to “5’s” I refer to people that really do not believe in Spirituality or anything like that. They are very matter of fact and use only their 5 senses to understand life.

People I describe as “5’s” are what I call younger Souls. They tend to experience life mainly through the five physical senses and often don’t yet see the deeper spiritual picture. That doesn’t make them wrong or less important—it simply means they’re learning different lessons at this stage of their Soul’s journey.

People I describe as “6’s” are what I call older Souls. They have usually experienced many lifetimes of learning and are naturally drawn to spiritual growth, intuition, compassion and a deeper understanding of life’s purpose.

That’s why “6’s” can usually understand “5’s”, but “5’s” often struggle to understand “6’s”. They’re simply looking at life through a different level of Soul awareness.

Therefore, “6’s” can understand “5’s” but “5’s” can’t understand “6’s.”

So, when you are clashing with someone in your life and your mind does not understand their actions, come out of your mind and step back into your Soul. Ask yourself if you think they are a 5 or a 6.

Ask yourself if you think you are their Teacher and if so, what lessons are you to teach or perhaps even learn from them. Maybe it’s lessons like:

Forgiveness
Patience
Acceptance

Each of us is a mirror to the other.

When I do a Psychic and/or Spiritual Reading, one of the things I look at is your Soul’s level of awareness and the lessons you came here to learn.

For many people, this brings clarity, reassurance and a much deeper understanding of their Spiritual Awakening, Soul’s purpose and the lessons they came here to learn.

People who are “5’s” are generally in their Soul between 5% and 35% of the time.

People who are “5 ½’s” are generally in their Soul between 35% and 80% of the time.

Then “6’s” the rest.

The next time you find yourself clashing with someone or struggling to understand their behaviour, pause for a moment and look beyond the personality to the Soul. Ask yourself whether they may simply be at a different stage of their Spiritual Journey.

As your Spiritual Awakening continues, you’ll naturally find yourself drawn to people who think, feel and live in a similar way. That’s because Souls tend to resonate with others who are at a similar stage of their Spiritual Journey. Don’t worry if some friendships change along the way—that’s often a natural part of your Soul’s growth.

Once your Spiritual Awakening begins, there is no going back—and most people wouldn’t want to. As you continue to grow, trust your intuition and understand your Soul’s purpose, life begins to make much more sense.
